Ready to sweat? LCD Hot yoga studio opens West Village

Hot yoga is cool.

If you’re looking for a place to do those poses and stretches under hot and humid conditions, Amina Daniels has a spot for you.

The owner of Live Cycle Delight, she opened LCD Hot today, June 22, in a 967-square foot business, located at 1462 Van Dyke.

Amina Daniels opened LCD Hot to elevate yoga offerings and increase efficiency. She is the winner of the 2015 Comerica Hatch Detroit Contest.

To celebrate LCD Hot’s grand opening, free drop-in pilates, sculpt-lates, pre-natal pilates, ashtanga and vinyasa yoga classes will be offered at various times during opening weekend.

The benefits of hot yoga include strengthening the heart, cleansing impurities from the body and regulating metabolisms and the immune system.

“After opening Live Cycle Delight, I began to notice an increasing demand to practice more yoga variety which was outpacing what we could offer in our current studio,” Daniels says. “We saw an opportunity to elevate our yoga offerings and increase efficiency by adding additional classes throughout the day, which is why we decided to expand our brand and open a sister studio.”

Live Cycle Delight is shifting all of its pilates, sculpt, sculpt pilates, blend, restorative, ashtanga, hatha, vinyasa and yin yoga classes to LCD Hot. The studio will be open 30 minutes prior to class time, offering two to three classes per day in the morning and evening.

LCD Hot currently has a six member staff and is actively seeking top talent to join the team and lead classes. For a complete schedule and to sign-up for classes, please click here.
