Motor City Re-Store to host informational sessions for grants to help spruce up neighborhood businesses

Just a short time ago Motor City Re-Store gave grants to help 44 businesses in 30 neighborhoods spruce up their facades.

It was the first time the grants were awarded, now it’s time to look at the next round.

Motor City Re-Store will host a number of free information sessions this week and next for interested businesses in several neighborhoods in both the east and west sides of Detroit. The program provides business owners matching grants to design and build façade and other exterior improvements – including landscaping, murals or public art design, outdoor dining options, historic preservation efforts and more.
