Diverse Huntington Wood architecture to be showcased at home tour June 3

You can take in Huntington Woods’ diverse architecture at the 26th annual Home Tour Sunday, June 3 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This year’s tour features five homes restored to showcase their original design but updated or remodeled to add the homeowner’s tastes.

Tickets are available at the Huntington Woods Library, 26415 Scotia Rd.; Gillham Recreation Center, 26235 Scotia, or online. They are $20 in advance or $25 the day of the tour, if tickets are available. Participants must be 16 years of age or older.

All proceeds from the event are used to support local education, women’s and children’s charities such as Berkley High School scholarships, Youth Assistance, Norup Food Pantry and the 4th of July parade.

The tour starts at the Huntington Woods Library, where participants will receive a map. The exteriors of the five houses remains a secret until tour day but here’s a look at some of the interiors.
