Join legendary actor and filmmaker Bruce Campbell (“Evil Dead,” “Bubba Ho-Tep,” “Spider-Man”) for a special screening of the heartfelt independent romantic comedy Ernie & Emma at Detroit’s historic Redford Theatre.

“Ernie & Emma” follows Ernie Tyler, a small-town pear salesman who sets off across Pear Valley, Oregon, after the passing of his beloved wife, Emma. Guided by the meticulous list of instructions she leaves behind, Ernie’s journey becomes a bittersweet and transformative road trip that challenges him to confront loss, rediscover purpose, and honor the life he shared with Emma.

Written, directed, and produced by Campbell, alongside his longtime creative partner and wife, Ida Gearon. “Ernie & Emma” is the first project they have produced together and filmed entirely in their home region of Southern Oregon. The choice to produce independently allowed the team to prioritize creative integrity, local talent, and real locations that reflect the world of Pear Valley.
