The Grammy and Latin Grammy nominated bilingual band Locos por Juana will headline Beacon Park’s free Summer Concert Series on Saturday, August 25 at 6:30 p.m. The band is most notably recognized for its high-energy live performances and unique fusion of reggae, funk, cumbia, salsa, and rock.
The band, which writes and produces all its music, features Itawe Correa as its lead vocalist, guitarist Mark Kondrat, drummer Javier Delgado, and bass player David Pransky. The group was voted Best Latin Band in 2017 by Miami New Times and recently collaborated with Zumba founder Beto Perez on the dance track, “Te Quiero Ver.” The song has become a global streaming and YouTube viral phenomenon.
The openers for Locos por Juana are Flying Buffaloes and Ross Livermore.
Detroit singer/songwriter Quinn XCII will be the featured performer for Beacon Park’s August 18th Summer Concert Series.
