Take your Mom out for a fun outdoor activity this weekend around Detroit

Celebrating and honoring mom on Mother’s Day is an ideal way to get the family together for fun activities, especially those that get everyone outside to enjoy spring’s milder temperatures.

This weekend stop by Hart Plaza and check out the Red Bull Skateboarding competition, take a walk or ride a bike along Detroit’s growing riverfront. Consider heading out to Kensington Metropark and jumping on a hayride (mom’s ride free) or take a guided walking tour through the Grandmont Rosedale neighborhood.

If you’re looking for even more great things to do this weekend and beyond, check out this month’s GOguide, which makes it even easier to find fun, family-friendly activities.
