Women are accustomed to solving problems, particularly in the workplace.
Whether that problem solving occurs inside or outside the home, we are always prepared to listen, suggest, help friends, families, and the causes we care about.
Ford Motor Company Fund and Michigan Women’s Foundation recognize women’s strengths and their value in and out of the workplace. EmpowerHER is a collaboration between the organizations, and this fall marks the next phase of its Business Plan and Pitch Competition.
Female entrepreneurs may submit a two-page concept paper and financial overview describing how their business will address and lead to the solution of a problem or issue.
The deadline for submission is October 6, with finalists announced in November.
Detroit is full of innovative women and the EmpowerHER team is ready to hear from them.
