Day of the Dead
Detroit, Michigan - Residents of Detroit's Mexican-American community celebrate the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos), where friends and relatives who have died are remembered and celebrated. The day included a procession around Clark Park, and an ofrenda (altar) honoring the first Latinos who made the journey to Detroit to work in the automotive and agriculture industries.
