Drunk Black History (Juneteenth Celebration)

06/20/2025 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Detroit House of Comedy, Detroit MI

At this hilarious and educational show, comedian Brandon Collins celebrates Juneteenth with booze-fueled lessons in Black history with the help of his friends. This upcoming show in honor of Juneteenth will include appearances from Dillon Stevenson (HBO), Ederique Michele (Taste the Diaspora), Justin Williams (Fraudsters podcast), and Kayla Chenault (Publisher's Weekly). It’s not your ordinary history retelling—you’ll hear from "comedians, experts, writers, and other professionals who are skunked out of their mind trying to recap the biography of a historical black figure or event that hasn't gotten the mainstream love they deserved." See this always unpredictable show at the Detroit House of Comedy in Detroit on Friday, June 20th.   ★★★★ “One of our favorite comedy shows out there” —TimeOut NY ★★★★ “Drink some cocktails while you get an education...at this popular show!” —The Infatuation ★★★★ “Keeping our food and drinks down was hard because of all the laughing...” —1202 Magazine ★★★★ “A hilariously high history lesson!” —AMNY
